The flat solar collectors of the SOLEKO company
The SOL S solar collector | The solar collectors are devices which collect the sun energy in order to heat usable water, pool water and supporting of central heating. Among many types of produced collectors, the most common are flat, liquid collectors and vacuum tube collectors. The rule of operating of solar collectors bases on absorbing the sun rays by surface called - absorber. The absorber is made of copper sheet, covered with absorption layer made usually of black chrome or titanium. To the bottom of absorber are soldered thin copper pipes, through which the heating and unfreezable liquid goes. Through the spiral coil (heat exchanger) in water tank, the liquid heats the water. Under the absorber the collector is isolated with mineral wool and from upper side the collector is covered by a special, hardened glass. The solar collector glass is resistant to hail. The box of the collector is made of aluminum sheet. |
Flat, liquid solar collector SOL S of the Soleko Company. High efficiency of
SOL S solar collector results from titanium covered absorber -
SUNSELECT ®. The titanium layer on the absorber is depositioned in vacuum conditions. This cover is the most durable absorber cover known and it is used by most of the world collector manufacturers. Also the absorption coefficient is very high comparing to black chrome absorber used before for the absorbers.
In polish climate conditions, the average total sun radiation amounts 1000 kWh/m
2, and SOL S collector collects up to 550 kWh/m
2.
The solar collectors common use results from the following advantages:
Lowering of the price of solar collectors and the equipment used with them, Steady rise in the conventional energy cost, Versatility of solar collectors use ( usable and pool water heating, supporting of central heating) Few years time of the investment refund when the durability of the solar collectors is estimated on 25 to 30 years, High energy efficiency and esthetic of the collectors, Support of the solar collectors by a government subventions.

 | The next advantage of SOL S collector is the elastic connection on the manifold pipe. This elasticity helps avoid unwanted tensions. This stresses occurs when the collectors are not mounted perfectly on the same level. The next advantage of elastic connection is the collar end, which when the collectors are connected assures excellent tightness. |
